Brahmand Leela
This program is inspired by the famous “leela” of child Krishna wherein he was chided by his mother for swallowing the mud. When asked to open the mouth, the child awed his mother by showing the entire cosmos in his mouth – thereby confusing the mother and escaping her wrath.
VIPRA celebrates the event for learning Astronomy and popularizing Science in Rural areas by organizing “Sky View” programs and establishing Observatories.
The Centre for this program is located at Brahmand Ghat (Gokul, Mathura), with branches at Barsana (Mathura), Nevla (Hastinapur, Meerut), Badhapur (Bijnor), Chakrata (Dehradun), Balwara (Indore), Raigad Fort (Pune), Anamudi (Kerala), Periyar National Park (T.N), Khunti (Ranchi), Suryodaya (siliguri), Goreswar (Guwahati) and Sariska, Raneela & Choru (around Jaipur, Rajasthan).
